A pit bull named Rush was taken by the SICSA Pet Adoption Center way back October of 2015. During that time, this fur buddy was scared and sad. The staff tried all the things they could to make him contented and comfortable. They offered him lots of treats and of course, plenty of love. They also gave Rush his own comfy bed to sleep in.
Rush surprised everybody one day with how well-ordered he really was. As shelter staffs strolled by his kennel, they were dumbfounded to see Rush making his bed!
They recognized that Rush would make his bed on a daily basis. One of the staffs wanted to show the world the exceptional behavior of this specific dog. She captured a video of Rush moving his blanket all over the place to make his bed.
The organization uploaded the video on YouTube and it quickly went viral. They were stunned that it was able to garner more than a million hits. They posted this cute photo on their Facebook page to make merry for the famous dog.
Soon after what happened, the shelter started receiving emails and phone calls coming from local news agencies who were excited to feature Rush. The shelter decided this was a great technique of telling people why pit bulls make remarkable pets. In an interview with ABC News, the firm stated that while the breed still carries in a lot of negative stereotypes, they are really quite wonderful creatures the moment you get to know and love them. It is also worth mentioning that adopters from different places began to stream in to try and adopt Rush.
In one of the videos, a married couple talks about losing their own dog. They both saw Rush on the news individually and decided that he was the one they have to adopt.
She texted her husband and told him that Rush was the right dog. The husband said he was also prepared to take on the responsibilities of another dog, so right after work, they head over to SICSA to ask about Rush.
When the couple was already on their way to the shelter, they stated that they saw a sign saying that it was meant to be.
While they are on their way, they saw a Cincinnati Bengals billboard with the slogan “Rush to be there.” But the couple only saw the word “Rush” at first, as the others were in smaller letters. They both knew that it was the sign they wanted to adopt this dog!
They were able to adopt Rush and they have sent the shelter a note stating how happy they were with their decision. They even told the shelter that Rush is an amazing dog and that they are completely in love with him.
